Island Preschool Co-op families my name is Katie Tobias and I am the
head teacher for the 3 and 4 year old classes. I am looking forward
to getting to know the parents and their children, sharing ideas and
working together to prepare the children for kindergarten in the
upcoming 2011-2012 school year.
Since 3 & 4 year
olds are known for telling everything about themselves and their
families, I will tell you a little about me. I am a graduate of
Eastern Michigan University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Elementary Education. I was raised in Brownstown and attended
Creative Montessori Center K-8 and Gabriel Richard H.S. Since being
married in 2007 my husband and I have lived in North Carolina. We
moved back to out home state of Michigan late last summer to spend
more time with family & friends. I do not have any children of my
own but we do have two golden retrievers names PJ and Layla that
keep us busy. I enjoy spending my spare time coaching the girls
tennis team at Cabrini H.S., playing tennis, working out,
snowboarding, scrap booking and spending time on the lake.

is the key to any good relationship between parents, students and
